HND company integrates research & development and production, is the only professional large-scale production enterprise of medium and high speed large power diesel engine in China’s shipbuilding industry, and has been awarded the title of “High-tech Enterprise in Henan Province” and “Scientific and Technological Innovative Enterprise in Luoyang”. HND has strong design and manufacturing capability of mediun and high speed diesel engine, especially in key technologies for example machining and heat treatment of high speed engine components. HND has a nation-recognized enterprise technical center, nation-recognized CNAS laboratory. And special scientific research and development institution, with special R&D trial production workshop and test equipment, responsible for new product development, product technology improvement and new technology research and application. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, HND has completed 15 technology innovation projects, and 9 of them have realized industrialization.

During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, HND focus on enterprise technological innovation on the basis of introduced technology, carrying on R&D of new products with its own intellectual property rights, further optimize the product structure, upgrade and present a new look of multi-purpose and multi-machine. HND products have been certified by 6 well-known classfication societies, i.e., CCS, ABS, BV, DNV and LR.

HND is growing up in exercise and experience, with world’s advanced equipment and diversified manufacturing capabilities. HND has 2 assembly lines of 234 series and 620 series diesel engine, and more than 20 test benches of diesel engine, gas engine and diesel generating set. During the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, assembly worshop with an area of 7800 m² and test workshop with an area of 3200 m² was built, equipped with 21 diesel engine and generating set test benches. 234, 604B, 620, L16/24, L21/31 series assembly lines was basically built, forming more than 50 test benches. It can meet the test requirements of 3000kW and 10kV high voltage generating sets. Advanced moving parts production line is mainly used for the various series of mediun/high speed diesel engine crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft and other key components.
